The fine print

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 12, 2026

This policy describes how UnOstrich ("we," "us") handles information in connection with unostrich.com (the "Site") and our services. The short version: we collect only what you send us plus standard visit analytics (Google Analytics), your card details go to Stripe and never to us, and your business data never trains public AI models.

Analytics, disclosed. This Site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visits, which sets cookies and collects standard usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). No fingerprinting, no selling of data. We also run advertising pixels — X (Twitter), Meta (Facebook), LinkedIn, and Reddit (all via Google Tag Manager) to measure ad performance; they set cookies and report standard visit and conversion events to those platforms. If we add another pixel, it gets listed here first. You can opt out of GA with the browser opt-out or by blocking cookies — the Site works fine without them. Disclosing exactly what we measure is the same discipline we sell.

1. Information you provide

When you email us, book a call, or purchase a service, we receive what you choose to send: typically your name, email address, phone number, company name, your LinkedIn profile URL (required for every booking), and a description of the workflows you want to discuss. During engagements, you may share business documents and data needed for the work.

2. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe through Stripe's hosted checkout pages. Your card number and payment credentials are provided directly to Stripe and never pass through or get stored on our Site or systems. We receive from Stripe only confirmation of payment and basic transaction details (name, email, amount). Stripe's handling of your data is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

3. Scheduling

If you book a call through a scheduling link, the scheduling provider processes the booking details you enter (name, email, chosen time) under its own privacy policy, and shares them with us so we can hold the appointment.

4. Hosting logs and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-42FR4F9EZG) to understand Site usage. Google processes this data under its own terms; see how Google uses data from partner sites.

The Site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel may process standard technical request data (such as IP address and user agent) to serve the Site and protect it from abuse. We do not use this data to identify or profile visitors.

5. How we use information

We do not sell personal information. We do not send marketing email lists; if we ever start a newsletter, it will be opt in.

6. Client project data and AI

Business data shared during an engagement is used only for that engagement and is protected as confidential information. We do not use your confidential business data to train publicly available AI models. Where an engagement deploys AI tools in your environment, those tools may be operated by third party AI providers under data terms we will identify to you before deployment, and where confidentiality is critical we configure workflows that keep data inside your systems.

7. Sharing

We share information only with the service providers named above (payment, scheduling, hosting, email), with professional advisors where necessary, and where required by law. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

8. Retention

We keep correspondence and engagement records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymize them. You may request earlier deletion as described below.

9. Security

We limit the systems that hold your information, use reputable providers, and keep card data entirely off our systems by design. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but minimizing what we collect is the strongest protection we can offer.

10. Your choices

Email hello@unostrich.com to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request deletion. We will honor requests except where we must retain records by law. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, and we will honor valid requests made under them.

11. Children

The Site and services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

12. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be noted on this page.

13. Contact
